It would definately help to fit a pollen or cabin filter (same thing) as other members have said it takes some believing the amount of gunge that it catches.
That is the air that you would breath if you don't have one
Currently in planmeca's garage:
Renault Laguna 1.8 16v x 2 and a lot of other things. could really do with a tidy up to be honest I'll do it tomorrow

Sorry Lejarvo,I tried to reply to your PM but it said you had to delete some before recieving any more.

As Planmeca says,adding a pollen filter will certaintly stop any debris being sucked through the system,I'm guessing that you have a plastic grille over the inlet where the filter should go?.

I'd rather push my Alfa than drive a BMW....

I will order one today, yes there is a plastic cover over the hole, when you take this out i can see where the filter would fit. Thanks again guys.
