So are we saying this can only be performed by your Renault Dealer who have the neccesary OBD II equipment and software ?

If you cannot find anyone willing to help further at your dealership I would put in a formal complaint to Renault Customer Services about your dealers in ablity to perform this simple task.

I've just sent an e-mail to Renault Service, telling them that the local dealer can't help and asking for advice. I'll let you know know it goes.

I have just got a 2002 Laguna Tourer, I found that when I pressed the unlock button on the remote it only unlocked the drivers door, I very soon found out that if you press the unlock button twice quickly, under 1 second between presses it the opens all doors, well it does on mine!

Good luck with your Renault.

I am sure I will be corrected if this is wrong but, isn't it supposed to do that? I'm sure it's a security feature where for example, you wouldn't want ALL the doors unlocked if it was the middle of the night and you were a lone lady etc etc ?

EDIT - Renault - Interiors - Handsfree Operation

Yep - it's a security feature. Same on the MG. I believe you can have it set to open all doors at once...
