Laguna keycard reprogramming
My first post:
Just bought a Laguna 2, 52 reg with one keycard ( a bit naive of me!). Thanks to renaultforums I realised the keycards on
were of no use. Unfortunately I had already bought one and a set of reprogramming instructions. A waste of money!!
After reading the posted advice I called three dealers to get a spare card. They quoted £130, £110, and finally £85 in Rochdale (PGC Renault). This was for a new card (from France), pre-cut emergency key and the programming (which they did for free which is why it was so much cheaper). I neede my V5 to order it and they need the car to programme it when it arrived 8 days later.
There are unprogrammed cards for sale on
, but they tend to sell for over £60. As renault charge this anyway (just for the unprogrammed card), what's the point in buying from
Hope this helps someone!
