Well.....Its finally happened - Broken Bonnet cable (Laguna)

Yes Indeed,

My lad yanks on the bonnet release and innocently tells me that the lever has 'gone all floppy' and the hood is still locked shut! (Laguna phase 1 '96)

Oh B*gger!

Seems from various threads that this is a pig-of-a-job in respect of getting the bonnet open to get started on replacing the cable.

Really don't feel like it today so will have a bash tomorrow and try and take some worthwhile pics as to what to prod / yank / bash in order to get the hood open.

(PS - anyone got any further up-to-date revelations on this?)
