It's worth checking the stalk first, but this sounds suspiciously like a
is the onboard computer that controls various functions, including the indicators and the electric windows. When it goes silly, all sorts of strange things can happen.
If it is the
, then your only option is to buy a new one and get it fitted by a dealer, or at least someone with access to the Renault diagnostic equipment. The units have to be coded to match the
, and this is a 'one-shot' process, so second-hand units from the scrappy's are worthless.
