You're right Spaceace For the figures I've shown above I had to keep resetting the settings to 0. Otherwise it adds in all the previous data making the average lower as it includes the 0mpg as it sits on your drive or sits at traffic lights etc. To get the best figures for a particular journey flick the end of the stalk to bring up the mpg data set off on your journey and once you are on the motorway or a long straight road reset the mpg by holding the stalk in for about 5 secs. You'll have a laugh as it usually starts showing your mpg as something silly like 100mpg .It takes a few miles to get a real average By the time you've done 5-10 miles it'll settle down to a realistic figure and stay their untill you change your driving situation. If it does'nt do the same as above keeping at a constant reasonable speed say 50-70 you may have a problem somewhere. Hopefully you'll get better figures this way. Let us know if it works.
