Well seeing as its not a cv shaft problem, thats that ruled out,

Its either going to be:

1) Strut bearing

2) Inner or Outer Track Rod

3) Ball joint

4) Drop link......if theres one fitted?

or even a gearbox mount or even engine mount,

I would say the best was to elimnate them is to get the car jacked up and break the pri-bar out, and see if you can find which of these components that have excess play in them,its about the only way forward iam afraid,
