There are all kinds of magic potions out there with claims like reducing the fuel comsumption, reducing friction inside an engine or finding the solution to world peace, but to be honest I am not convinced.......

The easiest ways to improve fuel economy is not to carry any excess weight when not neccessary, remove any roof racks/bars when not in use,and to drive more carefully(accelerate and brake gently etc). Also, there is a difference between the fuels available,so although supermarket fuel might be cheaper, you might find that your car is significantly more economical on a branded fuel.

I'd rather push my Alfa than drive a BMW....
