Does that 100 include the part and the labour involved in swapping it over?

If so, that sounds a fair price.

However, if you are questioning if this part should have failed at such a low mileage, I would say no.

Unless the part has been subjected to abuse (i.e. a strong gust of wind blowing the door ajar), then parts like that should almost last the lifetime of the car.

I would contact the equivalent of Renault Customer Services for your country, and see what can be done to discount this amount as a goodwill gesture.

The car is out of warranty, but the low mileage will help justify your claim of a manufacturing defect arising.
