The only real problems I can see with Auctions is a) you don't get a test drive, b) no warranty & c) you need to know how much to bid & not get carried away.

Whilst you may get a bargain, you could end up with a dog. If youo really want to go down this track, take someone with you who has experience or auctions and/or is a mechanic.

You could probably pick up a good deal from an ordinary garage but pay a bit more, but have peace of mind of warranty and some comeback on the garage if all goes wrong.

At the very least, if buying from an Auction I would do an HPI check & take out an aftermarket warranty.

Currently in SportTourer's garage:
2010 Laguna III SportTourer Initiale Tom Tom.
