battery access

So I have found releasing the four bolts that hold the seat rails allows the seat to be tipped back and get much better access. You need a star tool the correct size.

I got the car home but now absolutely no power.

I found I had a bad connection between the battery and the positive terminal. The crew on cable needs to sit nicely against the feet on the terminal lug. When I got my battery changed they squashed the feet a little.

Now I guess its the alarm imobiliser or something not letting any power through, else I have blown something. I can hear a click of a relay when I use the button for the alam(battery disconnected no sound), but no power on the car, not even interior lights.

Hmmmm, I will read more in the electric section
