Last thursday night, I went to unlock the doors and my keycard wouldn't work. I kept pressing it and eventually it opened the door. Next I tried to lock it again but no joy.. it simply didn't do anything. So I left it unlocked and came back later got in the car, stuck the keycard in the slot, pressed the button and vroom vroom, off it went. When I got home it still wouldn't lock so I went and got the other card and it locked first time.
Next I took the card battery out (very much afraid that I might have to reprogramme everything) and gave it a wipe against my trouser-leg because it seemed gummy (the key not the trouser-leg), and slotted it back into the keycard. I nipped outside pressed the button and the door unlocked.... pressed again and it locked. It's been fine since but I am carrying both keys now just in case but I'm thinking that a fresh battery will probably help.

The moral is.... it may be something quite simple so don't despair, wach
