need to check breaks on the back
took the tire off, and noticed the breaked are inside a metal disk that i need to take off (dont know the name of it), i have hammered at it, used screw drivers to try and open it, but it wont budge. do i need to take off the middle bit and undo the bolt (cant think of its name right now lol), i mean the part where Greece goes.
i dont have a spanner or anything big enough to fit the bolt inside.
i am going on a very long journey in the next few days and wanted to check the main essentials before i set off, it just had new front breaks and disks fitted for its MOT (it failed at 1st) and i had no advisories, so i dont know what the back breaks are like.
i dont have a manual for the car ether.
the car is a Renault Megan expression, 1.4ltr 2001 (on an X reg) 5 door hatchback.
Currently in Mike02849's garage:
