Laguna xenon's

Is it me ?? I find the xenons on my 2002 Laguna rather rubbish ! Well, actually now both have stopped working so they really are !
Is it possible to change to standard halogen lights ? If so, what needs to be done to the loom ? I can get standard lamps for 60 a piece and then bulbs are a fiver rather than an mortgage !
Anyone know ?

I can't really comment on the Xenon's being good or bad as I have only really used them on well lit roads.

Did both of your lights go off at the same time as this could point to a power feed problem.
I have seen Xenon bulbs on ebay quite cheap, but it may not be the bulbs at fault.

I think it would be possible to convert to standard halogen headlights but I'm not sure of exactly what would have to be altered on the wiring to do it.

The standard halogens will plug straight in and you can fit the autolevelling motors in as well which will give you autolevelling halogen lights. The actual units are identical bar the silver reflector inside, a hole in the bottom cut out for the ballast, and the bulb base (obviously). The levelling motor is a bayonet twist fit to release and swap

i brought a xenon kit from hids direct 80.0. Its a universal kit and you need to fit the ballasts to a plate in the original hole.
There is more than enough room and these have worked a treat over the past 2 years and havent failed once.
