had that problem several times. WD40 is a great product (must be, comes from England *NOT just fishing* ) but it is not adhessive and viscous enough to lube for long time.
I found something in my toolbox, which works great: grease the plumber uses to grease the water tap, in German it is "Armaturenfett", I haven't found a translation online, maybe you guys know what I mean. THis grease seems to be very resistant vs. whiper fluid, which usually is quite degreasing. This works fine since 6 month now or in other words 20 Liters of whiping fluid...

PS I have just read the translation by Franz it is very good and has prompted me to remove my bumper as soon as I get the time and seal everything I can find!
Thank you! Btw: good idea to seal this. Acryl costs just a few pence, a new ballard is much more expensive...

Headlight Beam Adjustment - Xenons

My wife's laguna has Xenons and I've noticed the drivers side beam sits a bit high. Can these be adjusted by anyone other than the dealer ?

Reading the previous posts about the "plumbers" tap lubricant i think you will find its called silicone grease , resitant to most soap type detergents, its a colourless grease.

yes, this is exactly what I meant...

@mushroom
you can help yourself with the beamwith of your xenons:
This HOWTO is in German, but there is a Foto, where you have to insert your hexagonal bolt
http://dafranze.homeunix.com/webspac...weiteXenon.pdf

THis works best when your car is parked on an even surface, such as your garage and there's a wall close to the car, so you can see, if your adjustment is correct
- open hood
- insert card (full, just like to start engine)
- switch on light (Xenons will ignite and beamwith will start to initialize)
- if initializing is finished you can start to adjust the beamwith by inserting a hexagonal bolt (in German it is called Sechskant or Imbus, I'm sure there's another English word for this tool) and start screwing. I'm not sure if clockwise means hup or down, but as long as you are close to a will you can see what clockwise means. I appreciate feedback!
