Exclamation Renault Laguna II - Phase 1 - Engines - 1.9dCi oil grade info

Laguna II 1.9dCi

Hi all,

I'll be setting off from sunny Surrey to visit the in-laws in Edinburgh next week, so in preparation for this I thought I'd get the oil changed.

I've managed to find a local garage who will change the oil for me for 10 (don't fancy trying it myself after the last time when I ripped most of the skin off my knuckles), so the only decision left is which oil to use.

Does anyone have any recommendations which is best? Previously I've used Magnatec GTD which I've been quite happy with.

Semi-synthetic is fine, as I'm of the opinion of frequent semi-synth changes (6,000 miles) is better than less frequent fully synth.

Any Fully Synthetic 5W40.. The more expensive the oil the better it will treat your Turbo ..
