Thumbs up Carlube 5W-40 Fully Synth

I've been using Carlube 5W-40 for the past few servicing. I'm v satisfy with the performance. My previous ELF, Mobil-1 & current Carlube make no difference to me in terms of performance. But price-wise, is so much cheaper!

Carlube 5W40 Fully Synthetic Motor Oil.

A non-compromise Fully Synthetic Oil developed for drivers who demand the Ultimate Performance with maximum protection.
Synthetic technology bonds to the engine surfaces, reducing friction
Provides improved fuel economy and reduced emissions.
Viscosity maintained from extreme cold start to high temperature engine use.
Developed to be used in high output supercharged and turbocharged engines.
Specification API SL/CF, ACEA A3, B3, B4
Meets requirements of VW502.00, 505.00, MB229.3,
Porsche & BMW Longlife

Also Suitable for use in:
Rover, BMW, Saab, Ford, Mercedes, Jaguar, Lotus, Volvo, VW, Fiat & Opel

I'll go for my recommended VW502.00 spec oil which is Carlube, also notice the cheaper oil has more up to date specifications. A good product need not be expensive.

Besides, Carlube isn't a small company.... it is made by:

they have been advertising extensively on Premership football stadiums. The oil was developed with Lotus Motorsports, and used by the TVR racing and Morgan racing teams....

Note that I was using Castrol when my turbo went.

1600.00+ later, my friendly Renault dealer told me that only Elf Excellium should be used.

At 48.00 per 5 litre, it had better perform, cos if it doesn't, I'm gonna drive it thro' their showroom window!.........
