If our member uncle sam reads this it might make it to the addendum page as he works for Haynes. Although I am not entirely sure that they could sanction super glue for repairs to a mech that needs the user to insert an very expensive card into it.

Addendum to the above how to :-

Please ensure to keep the super glue to a minimum - If possible use a super glue gel Maplins for 1.99 as opposed to a liquid as it provides a more secure bond / gap filling properties and is less likely to drip.

The card readers opening flap is just below the point you need to repair so please ensure no super glue drips down ont this mech.Leave the super glue to set for at least 30 mins before re-assembling the card reader.

Nice post L2O,

From our 'chat' the other day, did you get around to / consider, a 'how to' on posting pics /formats / sizing etc?

PS did you come to notice that obscure broken tab!

I'm writing a windows program especially for RenaultForums that will completely simplify adding pictures to the forum. It will allow you just to right-click and copy images straight to the forum from Internet Explorer, any paint program etc. It will automatically resize large images as well. Once it's perfected I'll add a post to the feedback forum

Hi Lag2O,
Is your key card quite hot when you remove it after a drive?
Does this problem relate to the lights on the steering wheel (cruise-control switches)?

Will appreciate an opinion. Thanks.
