Renault Laguna II - Phase 1 - Electric Window Switch Removal

I need to remove the electric window console from the drivers door on a 2002 Laguna to replace a faulty drivers window switch. I've tried getting my fingers under it and pulling upwards but it didn't move. I don't see any screws holding it in place either.

Does anyone know how to remove the console? Does the entire door card have to come off?

Any advice appreciated,

The window switch is clipped into the door card.

Carefully prise the side of the switch housing upwards.

You may then see the two retaining clips appear about 1/3 and 3/4 of the way along the edge of the switch.
Using a flat blade screwdriver just press the top of the clip inwards towards the switch and the housing should release itself.
