fantastic pics but can you explain how to get the door panel off in simple terms please I know I had trouble before and gave up (could not get handle off) also what sort of a job is it to replace a broken cable (is it feasible) or better to replace whole assembly
any help gratefully recd.

yeah, it happened on both front doors of my lag.11 . the drive cables begin to fray, prior to completely snapping. the frayed strands jam in the motor making the window jerk up and down. 213.00 per motor from renault, or 50.00 from the breakers. i haven't done mine yet so don't know how hard it is to d.i.y.

a couple of contacts for window mechs
1. David email says he's getting some Lag2 mechs in shortly about 110
2. Breakers 07768814037 northumberland
worth a try they have other models in stock

STAY AWAY FROM 07768814073 They are rip off merchants
