Just done drivers side

Took about an hour hardest part was getting the glass off the lugs as my window would only go down about 3 inches. With a bit of help and force managed to get the window down to half way and then separating the glass was easy.
Thanks for all the posts here it really helped.

Just read some of the previous messages, ive also left my side lights on and drained the battery. Is there not supposed to be a light sensor/ buzzer to say you've left your lights on when you open the door? The owners manual states that there is one, but mine doesnt work, and all the fuses seem ok. Any advice?

I had a similar problem with my LagII you'll probably find that the regulators have gone they also are connected to the mirror motors, its to do with the multiplex wiring, if the reg fails it affects the mirror. Window mechs are expensive fron Renault so look on eBay there is a guy who does repairs or look for Marcus Bailey BTU Car parts and any others on eBay , you may be able to get just the regulator (doubtful but worth a try) make sure you order the right part as there are 2 types a 2 pin and a 6 pin (with comfort control) I did have another contact but it will necessitate looking in my e mails. First thing to do is take off the door card and have a look, check the type of connector, the usual problem is a snapped cable but it sounds as you have a duff reg, tips on how to remove a door card can be found in this forum by doing a search
Hope this helps - let us know how you get on
