Rober33,

You could try >> Powerwindows <<

They sell on ebay but they have a contact number in the advert....they may be able to help with the clips you need or failing that they may be able to supply you a rear regulator at a decent price.

I got my drivers side regulator from them & I can recommend the price & service.

Cheers.

Hi I'm having problems with my n/s/f window removed regulator and motor put glassback in held it in place with masking tape while fixing two 2'' x 2'' blocks of wood under the glass and holding them in place with a screw through the hole in the metal work of the door as a temporary but secure fix.

I'm having a problem with my driver's window, was working fine yesterday but when I went to put it up there was a god awful scraping/crunchy noise and the window stopped going up halfway, then it went up in stages to the top and then opened about 2" then stopped working all together, after taking the key in an out it would then move up again but come down to the 2" position. After a while I am now able to move it down in auto mode but it only goes halfway up in auto, the window has to be closed the rest of the way in stages.

The scrunching noises don't sound good - could be the cables or pulleys have suffered damage. Either way I think it's time to get the door card off for a looksee. If they are damaged it usually involves replacing the regulator but you could prop the window closed with a lump of wood in the meantime. Renault repair prices are expensive but after-market units are vailable at much lower prices on good old Fleabay

Yeah i had exactly the same thing.. cables had frayed almost to the point of snapping and had started to get stuck.

I used a repair kit i got from a guy on e-bay. basically brake cable with resin for attaching end caps.

Worked really well. motor was ok as i had stopped fiddling with the window when i noticed it was sticking..

I've still got one left. Think it was only about 10 if you want it?

No good to me, i've got a Bavarian Vectra now..
