regulator mechanism

seems lots of people have probs with windows!!
its my nsf window with the prob, quoted 350 by dealer. why so dear when part is under 100. can someone point me to the thread with pictures of what to do please, mentioned in threads that there are pics somewhere. thanks

Take a look at the PDF's in this post

As for the price, do you expect the dealer to provide their services for free then? Granted the dealers charge a lot more per hour than an independent but you do have a choice

nsf window regulator

yes i do have a choice on how to fix the problem. i hate to be beat at such things but i may have to accept defeat on this one!

Job is a piece of cake take about an hour at most, hardest thing is getting the door card off, has to be prised off carefully after taking out the screws. Mechs are available on eBay for 60-80 quid and the old motor is reused. Just needs a bit of patience with the glass and its locating pegs but is well worth the effort when you see how much you have saved. There's plenty of info on the forum - go on have a go

I bought a replacement from here and the deal is great- 45.66 with free postage, fitting is a cinch and the window workd great- instructions included!
