Yes, I agree with the above comment. Getting the door card off is VERY well stuck down. Don't mess about buying just the cables, get the kit with pre-cut cables, clips and a pulley. It's pretty straight forward really, just a bit fiddly.

I have just removed the door card on my 02plate laguna II. wires frayed beyond belief. bought new regulators with motors for both front windows. just found out the connection for the regulator wiring connection is totally different. mine has about 18pins where as even renault said i wanted a 6pin connection. now i find out its because the memory seat etc. goes through the same loom. can anybody out there please enlighten me and let me know if this is correct. its doing my $%&ing ut in here. cheers guys

Re: Renault Laguna II - Interiors - Electric Window Problems - Regulator Repairs

Can anyone tell me if I can get the regulator with motor for a Renault Laguna II from anywhere else but a main dealer. The regulator wiring connection on the bottom of the motor has about an 18 to 20 pin connection, where I was told it would be a 6 pin connection. Apparently, so I've been told this is due to the memory for the drivers seat going though the loom due to the door sensor etc.
I need some help here guys,as I have the door in bits and no window in the car.where can i get this motor with the connection.
HEELLLLLPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!

I would presume your car is a privilage or above?

They use a different motor as the passenger side also has comnfort close, so you need a motor from a privilage or above, dynamique or below aren't suitable.

Renault or second hand is your only option.
