They use a different motor as the passenger side also has comnfort close, so you need a motor from a privilage or above, dynamique or below aren't suitable.

Renault or second hand is your only option.
Was going to ask the same question, I have an 05 Initiale and the passenger window has gone. My friend owns a garage and he ordered the one with 6 pin, as wasn't sure which one I needed and as stated here it is no good. Only option for him to get one from is Renault and they want 250 inc vat!!! Any other ideas, apart from dropping on a 2nd hand one etc?

Cheers

Re: Renault Laguna II - Interiors - Electric Window Problems - Regulator Repairs

I was able to fix the window regulator on my Megane by taking the regulator apart! Any chance you could do this with yours too? Or is it the wires that are the problem?

The same thing happens when I try to raise the window, it only goes up 3 or 4 inches then stops.

anyone else had this problem ? is it the switch at fault ?

cheers

Re: Renault Laguna II - Interiors - Electric Window Problems - Regulator Repairs

Just had the same problem on my NSF window - had been making a funny noise for a few days, so had stopped using it until I could investigate - however, took car into a rapid fit workshop to get the tracking checked and the guy wound the window down fully while he was doing it! Cue one snapped cable.

Wth the help of Mr Haynes and this forum, have removed door panel to investigate - motor seems OK.

Have ordered new cables and plastic parts in a kit from:

Fa.Okzam LTD

Will report back on how it goes. Only problem is trying to get the poppers for the door panel to 'pop' back - think one or 2 are cracked, so may need new ones (are these Renault items, as nearest dealer is around 30 miles away?). As door is only together temporarily, am holding it with the Torx screws for now. Window will only go back up to around a 25mm gap without snipping cables.

Re: Renault Laguna II - Interiors - Electric Window Problems - Regulator Repairs

Hi all,

Have a slight issue with my Laguna's driver side window. The blue clips that the wires connect into to move the window up and down broke on my car. They have since be replaced and the wires with a repair kit i found on eBay . Works fine, altho the issue I'm having is, if you move the window down to around half way, and try and put the window up, it moves about half an inch, then drops down about an inch, inch and a half. Anyone got any ideas?? Would be grateful if anyone had some suggestions. Im new to all this, so please be gentle .
