Re: Renault Laguna II - Interiors - Electric Window Problems - Regulator Repairs

6 months ago the cables of my drivers side window snapped, the precursor of this failure, I've since found out, is a squealing noise when the window is operated. I replaced the cables with a kit, but found getting the tension right was a little tricky, however with a little help of some mini G clamps and cable ties the job got done. Last Friday one of the cables snapped again! Went to GSF and bought the complete regulator( with motor) for 129, having previously had the door panel off, and a good idea of what I was doing, the replacement was done and dusted in under 45 minutes. However I am now in possesion of a motor(6 pin), so if anyone is looking for one, please let me know.

Re: Renault Laguna II - Interiors - Electric Window Problems - Regulator Repairs

I had a similar problem with the 2 front windows on my 2004 Laguna, renault wanted to charge me silly money to supply and fit new regulators. Solution.... went to a breakers yard and got 2 regulators for 60 and spent 40 minutes fitting them. good as new.
