Just push them on any way that you can, there's no specific position. Hope that helps.

Works fine, altho the issue I'm having is, if you move the window down to around half way, and try and put the window up, it moves about half an inch, then drops down about an inch, inch and a half. Anyone got any ideas?? Would be grateful if anyone had some suggestions. Im new to all this, so please be gentle .
Goodsy,
Sorry about the slow response, but this may help others.
I too replaced the wires with a kit from eBay , but the plastic bits that came with were very cheap.
I happened to the stripping down the door for another issue, and realised that the black clip, holding the glass onto the blue clip, had come off, and so the glass was not being lifted on both sides, and would soon be jamming. I refitted the old black clips, and have had no further issues.

Sounds like you have working blue sliders (hence the cables are still ok) but the glass can fall off the pegs, and so can jam at mid position.
Inspection of the clips is easy, and will confirm this quickly.
Good hunting.

My experience differs from zb298; I found the black clips that hold the glass onto the blue clips have to be horizontal, and so I put them at 3 and 9 o'click (sorry, o'clock ).
Of course, when you have the blue clips in your hand before fitting, you will be able to see that for yourself....
I also found the replacement clips broke easily, so I would recommend using the previous (original) Renault ones if possible.

Re: Renault Laguna II - Interiors - Electric Window Problems - Regulator Repairs

Hi,
same problem as everyone here window regulator goosed went to Bury Renault today who informed me that renault would foot 75% of the cost of the repair, they would only offer that info if pressed, however the window motor/regulator must be reattached to the car so that their mechanics can then take it off again!!!! where's the logic in that and what on earth do you do in a rainstorm when your window sticks in the down position?? well common sense says you put the window in the up position and wedge the window closed, whilst in there you may as well detach the offending window motor/regulator no??? well renault are just being asses to my mind to add insult to injury the girl behind the service desk then informed me with a smile on her face that my car was 10 days outside of warranty and renault would not be able to do the work on my window!!!! apparently this is a very very common problem and renault have known about it since day 1 but have not got the decency to inform owners of this issue, presumably because the less they publicise it the less money they will have to fork out on repairs to a known issue. I have established that the motor is fine but I need the 6 pin anti pich module that sits on top of the motor has anyone on the forum got a working 6 pin anti pinch module for fron passenger side window please??? i will do the work myself stuff renault with their strange french ideas of good customer service no wonder the brits hate the bloody frogs!!!!

Re: Renault Laguna II - Interiors - Electric Window Problems - Regulator Repairs

Well, I'm sad to report that my repaired drivers side front window has stopped working again. I am 99.9% sure the cable has frayed and snapped. I already have a replacement repair kit ready and waiting. This time when I do the job, I am going to give the cables a really good dousing of waterproof grease, along with the sliders too. I suspect that the doors are prone to water egress, which rots the cables, leading to fraying/snapping. Up until last week, the window has worked 100% fine, then started to sound like a cable was binding before stopping working all together. I'll be doing the job exactly the same as I did it back in January.
