Re: Renault Laguna II - Interiors - Electric Window Problems - Regulator Repairs

I have only read the first 10 pages and the last page.
Might have to read more.

I have a fail on my drivers side window, itis stuck halfway down. I will move about 2 inches one way, and then 2 inches back. That is all.

I have the door card off.
And I am going to attempt to take the regulator out as per some diagrams I found by Neil Danner, entitled Renault Laguna Window Regulator fitting instructions.

I do hope I do not have to cut the wires.

I has been perfect, but has been in at a repair shot getting another job done while we have been away for 6 weeks.

Seems weird that it has just happened.

Re: Renault Laguna II - Interiors - Electric Window Problems - Regulator Repairs

And when I got in there, I found frayed wires, as expected, wrapped up in a bunch.

No used ones for sale that I can find so far.
A new one from the dealers is over NZ$700.00 plus GST (VAT).

So after picking out all the broken strands that I could, it is all working again, for now.

When it goes again I will attempt to replace the cable, as per an instruction on her way back about page 15, 26/10/07 post date.

Re: Renault Laguna II - Interiors - Electric Window Problems - Regulator Repairs

Dont know if this has been covered in any of the treads.

I have a intermittent fault on my drivers door window, sometimes it works fine then next time i go to use it nothing happens (wont Move),leave it for a few hours then it starts working, it even stuck the other day when fully open, hours later it started working again,

Any ideas what it could be folks
