Hi Safrane - just to clarify your last post - are you referring to overfilling the engine or intercooler with oil

Chromeduol,if your turbo is producing enough boost to blow the intercooler,I'm sure it's in good health!

If it starts to get noisy or you notice a lot of oil in the turbo system, then it's time to worry........

I'd rather push my Alfa than drive a BMW....

The engine, the intercooler will fill up with oil ,when the turbo blows up due to the engine being overfilled, don,t overfill the engine.

Well I just got back from South Coast over the weekend. Turbo and Intercooler still working. Did 600 miles, so gone over 99k mark. Its a little noisy but not too much and it had a good run. Certainly no smoke coming out the exhaust like it was before the intercooler was replaced. I'll see how it runs tomorrow in the morning. BTW: Saw a major smash on the M40 southbound by Warwick, guy hanging out the window looked in real bad shape. Hope he survived. Not sure what car it was because it was mashed, btu it looked like a BMW. Seen on traffic that its still shut 4 hrs later. Makes you drive very carefully when you see that.
