Mine snapped on my mark 1 and i replaced it with one from the scrap yard!! If its a second hand one you can get away with changing one as its already worn in but brand new you need to fit both as your car will probably look and feel abit strange.

Cornwall the place to be!

Laguna 2 front spring

I have a broken spring (o/s). Seems to be rather common, i was going to do it my self but decided against it, (thanks Vel Satis 1). Best price I have found is at Virgin auto parts via E-Bay 25.00 plus 8.00 post, or Eurocar parts 31.00. I am buying two so postage is free.

Before buying check if they would be returnable if usuitable. There have been some problems with after-market springs where they don't compress uniformly when under load.
The Lags can be weird in this respect sometimes although I have only came across this problem once but I believe another member had such a problem.

Good luck with the new springs anyway
