On a motorway at around 70-75, I get about 50mpg (60,000miles), probably around 40 around town.

Only have the car about a week but have averaged 39mpg on mixed driving, probably 50/50 motorway and city. On motorway driving it is up over 50mpg.

It's considerably better than my Alfa 156 1.6 which was returning about 25mpg, which is why I was forced to sell it!

Hi all,
I do a 60 mile round journey in my Renault Laguna 1.9DCI 105 bhp it has 90k on it. My journey is split into three one part is 8 miles on country roads, then 18 miles on motorway and then 4 miles in town this one way of my daily journey. I find if I take my time on the roads and motorway and it is clear and I am doing 70 mph when I can. I am getting about 50 Mpg but if I am doing near 80 mph it goes down to nearer 47 MPG.

Hope this helps

Thanks
MDB

I do a mix of town, country and motorway driving, about 10/20/70%.

I normally get around 47-48mpg. I cruise on the mway at about the speed limit, tend not to boot it on the mway as I need my license!

Around town, I am quite a steady driver, not normally in a hurry.

However on the country roads I do like to boot it a bit.

Currently racking up about 800 miles per week. Costs a fortune at 60+ a tank

Does anyone know what a 2.2 cdi (150bhp) Laguna Tourer 2003 model should get to the gallon?
