Its supposed to be a 120, I think thats all that was available on an 03 but I could be wrong.

Sometimes it feesl reasonable, but other times its pretty gutless. it may be because I'm used to petrol turbos with more of everything. Although the diesel should feel rally torquey but it has nothing compared to my saab.

Its not a bad car tho, just a bit characterless, everything seems to work except the rear washwipe which is seized solid. How, i don't know as its supposed to mo0ve everytime the car gets put into rverse gear. The motor works on it, just the mechanical side doesn't!!

Car has 125k on now, but full dealer service history, one of the reasons I can't get my head around the RWW not working.

I think the car is working correctly power-wise because I wound it up on my own private test track a few weeks ago and achieved top speed pretty much bang on the book speed!! Quite impressed for a donky diesel.

It seems to have really lost some economy with the cold weather tho, but I expect that.

All in all its growing on me, I think I've just had a couple of bad experiences. I'm now used to locking it thro the back door but at least I can unlock with one of the keycards!

This weekend I went to London and back.

I acheived approx 38.5mpg on the way down, but was nipping along with an average speed well in excess of the national speed limit.

On the way home I sat at 70mph and the car managed a quite staggering 57mpg.

Very pleased with this figure as I was doing 70 all the way so not too slow.

I have found that there is a huge difference in economy when you get to 80ish on this car and the 2.2 I had was definitely more economical at high speeds, but all in all very pleased with it.

I did 568 miles at an overall average of 47mpg, so not bad.
Around the doors and back and forth to work in heavy traffic it gets about 39mpg.

Just did a 660 mile trip from the UK to France, averaged 49.8 for the complete journey. Didn't hang around when I could either!!
Just had the rear bushes and shocks done, the old were original, front joints are still original and just passed the MOT. Turbo etc replaced last year.
145,000 on the clock, not bad, eh?

Political correctness defined:
Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end
