Mine is now confusing me
I've cleaned the EGR valve and my mpg has gone down to 38mpg even on my daily 45 mile commute to work I have only hit 40mpg once. I am going to get all the filters changed in a fortnight and give it a good service and see if this helps.
Also when I accelerate it sounds like the exhaust is blowing badly but I cannot replicate this when the car is stood at idle.

I have just done my first long run in the Scenic from Manchester to Devon and back.
On the way home i filled up at Sainsburys in Newton Abbott, reset the computer and jumped straight onto the A380.
The computer didn't register any mpg for a couple of miles then it showed 28mpg, by the time we hit Bristol it had climbed to 38mpg and when we got on the M6 it was showing 49mpg.
It went up 1mpg at a time, is that how it should work?
Also i have 205/55 tyres fitted and the originals were 205/50's. How much difference will they make?
