I only seem to be getting about 31MPG on average.
I cannot get it to shift above that.

I donít go over 2k on the revs when driving around town.
The only time it is at constant 2k or over is on the motorway.

It is costing me too much to run the car. At this rate if that is all i am going to get its going to force me to sell up.

I am just wondering if this is correct for the eng / car?

Thanks

Chris
The only time I get anyway near that low is when I am towing my caravan, computer, and calculations say about 29mpg.
Other wise, I am normally 45 mpg. Something must be wrong? hole in fuel tank? stuck in first gear? lol

my 1.9dci 130 with 181k on a 53reg gets around 44mpg (from the trip meter) thats pretty much all urban driving, with the odd cruise on a motorway at 80+

the only thing i have noticed is how much better the fuel econonemy is with decent and well inflated tyres. when i put brand new tyres on, i seem to get better mpg, now it could be just coincidence, but maybe not.

worth checking your tyres for correct pressures either way.

Re: Renault Laguna II - Phase 1 - Engines - Average MPG from 1.9 DCi Engine

New Laguna II 1.9 owner here, i'm only getting 29-32MPG around town driving like Miss Daisy.

Oil change, EGR and MAF clean coming up me thinks!

Still twice as good as my last 2.5L T estate at around 15-20MPG

Re: Renault Laguna II - Phase 1 - Engines - Average MPG from 1.9 DCi Engine

ive had mine a few weeks using it for work and what not.

ive found leaving it on tick over killed any accurate reading i would get.

gentle driving to work thou once moving will easily 50.1 mpg,

normal driving (after ive made the move from petrol so still adjusting) is about 34-39

so much is derived by driving style
