Re: Renault Laguna II - Phase 1 - Engines - Average MPG from 1.9 DCi Engine

Hi. My 1.9CDi 2005 vintage 80000 on the clock is returning on average between services with mixture of urban and motorway driving 48.7mpg according to the computer. With roof rack and either kayaks or canoes on top it does not drop below 42 mpg. Recently had it in to a Renault dealer for engine management light on and high fuel consumption and when I got it back to fault was cured and the technicians report for urban and motorway driving was 53.2 mpg. This car is also serviced every 9000 miles.

Re: Renault Laguna II - Phase 1 - Engines - Average MPG from 1.9 DCi Engine

Ive a 04 dci 120 and i recently found it more economical to travel at 120kmph than at 100, i'm usually getting in around 47mpg mostly on the motorway.

a clean air filter and correct tyre pressure does affect fuel consumption, might be worth checking out.

My 2002 2.2dci is averaging (over the last month) 46.3mpg according to trip computer. This a mix of urban & motorway driving at normal speeds (ie not driving like a saint or a loony!) Quite pleased with this
