Re: Renault Laguna II - Phase 1 - Engines - Average MPG from 1.9 DCi Engine

My Laguna is a 53 plate and has done nearly 137,000 miles

Most of my driving tends to be around town, however my drive to work and back is about 18miles each way, I tend to average 45-50MPG (although I have had it to 55MPG once before) all week.

I recently went to Cornnwall from Bury St Edmunds. I filled up my car then left straight away, the trip was 397miles and we stoped 3 times (the partner constantly needs to **** (She just gave me evils for saying that... oops )) I set the Cruse Control to 70MPH and we got 54.3MPG.

However If I do 60-65MPH I can easy get between 70MPG and 80MPG

Hope That Helps guys.

2002 Laguna 1.9 DCI sports plus between 42 and 47 mpg... if you are getting less could be in need of a fuel filter change

Re: Renault Laguna II - Phase 1 - Engines - Average MPG from 1.9 DCi Engine

My 02 Laguna 1.9DCi has gone from 34MPG (london driving) to 94.7

I dont think for a minute this can be right.. The only thing that has changed is an oil /filter change when i got the car (6 months ago) and a few treatments of radex.

I think all of us can agree that if our cars were giving us 94.7 mpg we would drive this car forever check your electrics maybe disconect the battery for at least 24 hours to allow the ecu to reset, might set things straight, my laguna is lying up in my garage after a turbo failue so mpg at the moment ar 24.6 reconditioned turbo arrives tomorow so will have her back to normal
