It's a figure of speech as I'm sure you already know, the fact is if you're not keeping up with the flow of traffic you're causing an unnecessary hazard to you and others

As long as a person is within the law then they can drive at whatever speed they choose, the ones who cause the problems are those who do not drive without consideration of other drivers./ Inside lane for driving normally, middle and outside lanes for overtaking.

I get 47.8 from mine on average , but i am sensible in the main, mainly A and B roads . I am really happy with those figures

Ive only really used mine for the 15 mile round trip to work, all city driving, no open motorways or dual carriageways and im averaging 32.9 on my 03 1.9dci 120bhp, with 6 spd box. Not too bad considering ive came from a Volvo T5 that averaged 13 lol.
