Re: Renault Laguna II - Phase 1 - Engines - Average MPG from 1.9 DCi Engine

I get 34mpg on average from my 205bhp petrol turbo ; cheaper at the pumps, cheaper to buy second hand, less to service, lighter, less wear and tear on tyres (less nose weight and better handling), less oil particulates (greener) and quieter. What's not to like?

Not Laguna but my dad is averaging 38-40 around town and 55ish on a motorway run in his Megane Tourer, dci 120.

I'm averaging 40+ in my LL29 Trafic with a probable 60/40 motorway/urban mix.

second post on here. but different car.

2002 1.9dci 120 sport tourer.
average countryside and town combination 38 mpg, drive like an old farmer and 50 mpg.
recently got 62+ mpg on a motorway/dual carriageway run with 30% back roads, but not revving over 2700 rpm and gently acceleration due to a charge fault.
