Right,, that does it,,,, the lag11 goes ASAP

Put up with the tyre sensors etc and all the other "niggles" cos i liked the car.

i now have a nearside window that wont go up nor down as is jammed about 3` down and i also suffer from the clutch pedal thingy........... so thats it,, the old girl has to go,, can't justify spending this sort of cash on a 2001 dci with 133k on the clock

it has served me well and it was a great car (past tense) but the time has come to move on to something a bit different

Do you have to replace the master cylinder or will a bleed and refill fix it?

If your laggy is around 02 or later it will have a dual mass flywheel, probably valeo. These have a tendancy to wear out very much quicker than conventional clutches and are very costly to replace. 600 typical mr clutch type price. Usually recommend replacing concentric slave cyl also adding another 100. Mine failed at 42000 miles but the car does almost all stop start traffic and the bloke who fixed it said this is typical for a DMF cutch. By the way lots of new cars now have these VW, Ford BMW etc. All it does is make the drive train smoother and takes up some of the torsional shock loading in the gearbox. Give me a conventional clutch anyday. last 150000 miles if you are careful. So much for modern technology eh.

Clutch pedel stays down

Just had new master cylinder fitted by Renault, who say there is not a problem with the clutch and this is just normal ware and tare.
My Laguna 1.9dci 2003 has only done 48000 from new, this should not occur at 148000 miles let alone 48000.
Cost of repair 154.00.:
