I always wanted P155 OFF. Wonder if the DVLA have issued it

I bought a cheap Belfast plate for the wife a few years back. A couple of words of wisdom for anyone who's contemplating doing anything similar: Don't bother. Retainer fees, transfer fees, hours spent queuing at the DVLA whenever you want to change cars. The whole thing is a total pain in the backside.

If you find yourself a cracker of a plate, can afford it and it really means something special to you, then go for it. If you just want something for a bit of fun or to hide the age of your car, don't bother. It's more hassle and expense than it's worth.
