Fuel gauge sender unit - laguna 94

And we all thought we had heard the last of this.... :-)

Well, hope you are all ok? it's been about a week with no contact. Dont send the search party out as i am back - i can hear the sighs of relief from here.

Anyway, my fuel gauge sender! managed to get inside the tank and got the unit out and it would appear that the float has worn a little on the edge, which makes it (and the rod) heavier than petrol, so it sinks to the bottom.

This is the cause of the problem (for the information of other sufferers).
Got a new fuel pump including sender unit priced at 25 from a scrappy, so its not too big a job.

Stay bad.
