I appreciate what you are saying.
So did your display actually show correct tyre pressures although they were well down? Yes, the ooooo display for oil shows level, more oooo's means more oil .
If this was also reading vastly incorrectly,You may well have a problem with the calibration. A simple reset of the ecu , maybe by just unplugging battery and reconnecting may reset everything for you.
We all rely on gadgets these days too much and are becoming lazy when it comes to routine checks.
