Still sounds like a wheel bearing to me.
The trouble is with spinning the front wheels up with the car jacked up is that you are also turning the driveshaft and part of the gearbox so you can't always spin them fast enough to get a noise.Also,as the car is jacked up there is no weight on the wheel and this can hide the fact that the bearing is shot....
Going back to 5th wheels post,has the noise only started since the pads have been replaced?.Are you sure their fitted correctly?
I'd rather push my Alfa than drive a BMW....
