It needs a new cambelt due to age since the last one changed.

Reading up though it seems the turbo can go at anytime after 100k which will more then likely write off the engine as well?

Should I stay clear from diesel lagunas?

Do the meganes suffer the same problems?
some had electrical problems but cant remember the years involved
as for the turbo if you are handy with a spanner you just fit a new core from 150-200
