So you have a new seat, a new Airbag AND a new airbag computer, is that correct?

I ask this as the Airbag computer (located under the front centre consule) is a "fire once only" device.. So if any Airbag has gone off then the computer MUST be replaced..
If you have bought a new airbag computer then it will need to be "unlocked" by your local dealer as it will not work straight "out of the box"..

If you are going to attempt to replace the parts yourself then be aware that airbags are potentially dangerous..!!

I could tell you the procedure for replacing them.. But I do not want to leave myself open to litigation by providing that sort of information to a "home mechanic" as you have already stated in your opening post.
