This is a good solution but Renault wont do it
So do it yourself!
Just set aside an hour or so one weekend and not only will you save yourself a stack of cash but you'll most probably cure the squealing. And it should'nt affect your warranty! I've changed pads on my last 3 cars which were all in warranty with no problems.
All you need to change Megane II pads is 1 spanner (13mm I think), axle stands and jack. Same applies to the Laguna II.
