The white connector that is behind the panel...I have a blue one, it's strapped to the light dimmer loom but the connector is free. it looks like the white connector, with 6 female pins (1 unused)

Re: Renault Megane 2 - Retro-Fit Cruise Control (Guide With Pics)

Hi Joeishmather,

I've just bought a Megane 3 (2011) its been suggested the wiring to add cruise may be already in place, any idea if that could be right?

The switch sits in the handbrake console, mine has a blank fitted and the controls are on the steering wheel.

Am I being somewhat naive in hoping that I could simply fit the switch and change the steering wheel, make the connections, if the wiring is in place, and job done??

This seems to be the only thread I can find regarding retro fitting CC, although its an old thread.

Many thanks,

Mart

Im rather confused as to which bits exactly i need..
Im okay with the cutting and soldering and gluing etc, but i cant get to grips with which wires to select and where they go to... could you tell me the part numbers ill need to do it using a stereo controller like is already behind the wheel?

Hello,

Can you give me more details about the connections under the steering wheel?
I don't find the previous pictured connectors on my 2002 Espace 1.9dci
Can you give me more details?
Many thanks
