Re: Renault Megane - Radio And Time Display Bulb Replacement

Rob,
would suspect fuses first...
if fuses are ok then its most probably the bulbs that have failed....
as for your other switches again suspect bulbs is only the issue....

to access the clock/temp display is easy...
habe you got haynes manual...

if not...there are posts in forum...search under scenic clock or something similar...

basically though... pop the 2 speaker covers off on dashboard
undo torx nuts T20 size....
lift up dash from the front
then there is 2/3 screws hoilding the clock display in...undo these and then you can twist the bulb fitting out and replace them...
about 2.50 from halfruds ...
then refit dash in reverse...
take about 30mins...

heather switches are not too difficult to do either...again could be the bulbs...

Thumbs up Re: Renault Megane - Radio And Time Display Bulb Replacement

Thanks ascot,
i suspected fuses but they all appear ok i thought it may be bulbs, i guess when one bulb goes it could then take others with it one by one . cheers

Re: Renault Megane - Radio And Time Display Bulb Replacement

bulbs should not really go at same time unless like the clock/radio they on same circuit and suffered a surge...
mind you, thye all get power at pretty much same time so poss they have failed at a similar rate...
bTW, the guide for removing dash was from the Scenic....!! Megane will be slightly different, but think the clock is same...!!
Haynes manual helps !!
