Re: Buying a coupe

I've got a 2002 1.6 16v coupe and mine insurance was only 330 with 8 years no claims. I wanted the 2.0 F5R IDE but couldn't find one in my price range and when i worked for Renault we had lots of injector problems with the IDE engine so i thought i'd steer clear.

Re: Buying a coupe

I had a 1998 2.0 litre coupe, when I switched to an insurer in 2006, who didn't charge a fortune I was paying 300 ish (8 year model, full NCD, fully comp, 19 years on a full licence) before that I was paying 600 (6-7 year old model, full NCD, 17-18 years full licence). The last time I renewed in Sept 2012, it was 330 ISTR, by then she was almost 14 years old, again full NCD, nearly 25 years on a full licence. I pay about the same for my Scenic.

Re: Buying a coupe

I had a 1.6 coupe 2000 plate up until last July and my fully comp insurance with 3 years no claims was 330,50 excess so quite cheap really.

Mpg wasn't bad either,a steady 36 doing mostly city driving. A cracking wee car

My 2010 one now is only 300,4 years protected no claims and 50 excess but mpg shocking!
