Megane I 2000 1.4 16v

I've just bought a Megane I 2000 1.4 16v, 67k Its had a new cam belt at 58k, ive just replaced the front discs & pads.
Ive done an oil change & filter. replaced all 4 coil packs & spark plugs. All of which has made a massive difference
to the performance. But.......

I'm Trying to work out which air filter that i need for my car. i've found two on ebay but i'm not sure which one it is.

Its also got air con, which my old man is going to recharge for me in the summer. Does it have a pollen filter as i cant find it in the haynes manual.

hey ive got a megane mark 1 version 2 (99 onwards). i believe they don't have pollen filters as at my last service in november my mechanic couldn't find one to replace.

as for the air filter i have no idea, probably better off nipping into a renault dealership and asking then picking one up on the cheap from a general car parts shop or ebay

pollen filter

Megane 1 does have a pollen filter they just are never changed in services but they should be its located in the balck panel passanger side under the windscreen easy to get to. But the pollen filter is diff for facelift 2000 onwards car and its different for the saloon make sure you to it with you to get the right one. Very easy job though clip out panel.
